Independent fan project
ViceVanta is an independent fan project. There is no business relationship with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive; the site is neither operated nor supported or authorized by these companies. Grand Theft Auto, GTA and the associated marks belong to their respective rights holders. They are named only to identify the subject matter.
Map and game information
The map is our own freely designed preview map. We drew it ourselves; it is not taken from game material, leaks or third-party maps. Places are only shown where Rockstar has officially named them, and their positions are estimates. The real game world and all collectible locations follow after the release on 19 November 2026. The cheat code list refers explicitly to GTA V.

The map, logo and texts on this site are our own work. Images from official trailers are only shown through YouTube embeds.

2. Hosting und Aufruf der Website
Diese Website wird über Cloudflare Pages bereitgestellt. Anbieter ist die Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Beim Aufruf der Seite verarbeitet Cloudflare technisch notwendige Verbindungsdaten, insbesondere Ihre IP-Adresse, Datum und Uhrzeit, die aufgerufene Adresse, den Browsertyp und das Betriebssystem. Das dient der Auslieferung der Seite sowie der Sicherheit und Abwehr von Angriffen.
Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Unser berechtigtes Interesse liegt in einer sicheren und schnellen Bereitstellung der Website. Mit Cloudflare besteht ein Vertrag zur Auftragsverarbeitung. Cloudflare ist nach dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework zertifiziert; Übermittlungen in die USA stützen sich auf den Angemessenheitsbeschluss der EU-Kommission (Art. 45 DSGVO). Die Karte selbst läuft in Ihrem Browser. Kartennotizen, Favoriten und Suchanfragen werden nicht an uns gesendet.
3. Progress, settings and your own content
The application stores the selected console type, filters, marked locations, cheat favorites and your own map notes in local browser storage (Local Storage). A map image you load yourself is stored in a local browser database (IndexedDB). No automatic transfer of this content to the operator is built in.
This storage provides the offered features for remembering your selection and your progress. Insofar as it is strictly necessary for the service you explicitly requested, § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG applies. Insofar as personal data is processed to provide requested features, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR is the intended legal basis.
The data has no automatic expiry. It remains stored until the website data is removed in the browser, overwritten or cleaned up by the browser. If needed, back up your progress beforehand via “Back up progress”. Shared view links contain map coordinates or a marker ID in the URL fragment.
4. Cookies, advertising and audience measurement
This website does not embed any ad networks, analytics tools, external fonts or social media pixels. Videos only load after a click (see section 5). The application code does not set any HTTP cookies. No consent to advertising or analytics is currently requested, because no such services are embedded.
If we add advertising or audience measurement later, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
5. External links, videos and contact
Source links are only opened when you click them. The terms of the respective provider apply on the target page; that provider receives the usual connection data.
On the info page we show official trailers from YouTube. Before you click, you only see our own preview image and no connection to YouTube is made. Only when you click a video does your browser load the player in privacy-enhanced mode from youtube-nocookie.com. Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland then receives your IP address and technical data and may store data in your browser. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Wenn Sie uns per E-Mail schreiben, verarbeiten wir Ihre Adresse und den Inhalt Ihrer Nachricht, um Ihre Anfrage zu beantworten (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b oder f DSGVO). E-Mails an kontakt@vicevanta.com werden über Cloudflare Email Routing an unser Postfach weitergeleitet. Wir löschen die Daten, sobald die Anfrage erledigt ist und keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can in particular request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you have a right to object under the statutory conditions. Consent you have given can be withdrawn with effect for the future. You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the place of your residence, your place of work or the place of an alleged infringement.
